Where does the training take place?
Most of my clients are from Mold or the surrounding areas. However there are some intrepid souls who come from much further afield.
Most of the training takes place at the fitcell company in Mold.
However, if you prefer we can jog together through the parks, cycle along the amazing tracks, workout in or near your home or place of work, swim at a pool local to you or take longer trips to get to know new running or cycling routes in your area. Just contact me. I am sure we will find a solution!
Am I a professional trainer?
Yes. I qualified as a Triathlon coach with the British Triathlon Association (BTA) and have had the privilege of working with the Coaches for the GB Triathlon Youth Squad. I qualified as a swim teacher and taught dance over many years. More recently I trained as a Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pre and Post Natal Exercise Instructor to mention just a few. I work hard to keep up to date with the latest developments in health and fitness and continue to train and upgrade my skills and knowledge so that my clients receive the very best care.
Why should I spend money on a personal trainer? I can do it by myself.
Of course you can train alone. But I believe that my main purpose is to motivate you and develop a customised training programme with you that corresponds to your requirements, problems and goals. It's often easier NOT to work on the things that you find challenging without someone else pushing you on. My role is to detect when your posture is not quite right or when you are putting too much pressure on the wrong muscles and even when you're working too hard. Your health comes first and your fitness will follow - think of me as your health and fitness conscience. Your Jimminy Cricket - always let your conscience be your guide.
How often do I have to or can I train with you?
That is entirely up to you and depends on the amount of time you have and how committed you are. Life is for living, so I discourage my clients from working out more than 3 times a week. If your lifestyle allows you to work out once a week then I can target your workouts to suit. If however you have the time for 2 or 3 times a week then the workouts build to accommodate your time and your fitness levels. It's really up to you and your determination.

The best way to get to know me is to book an induction! Induction takes 90 minutes. A little paperwork and then the balance of time spent one on one with me in the gym. So, look for an available 90 minutes in your diary, send me a request for that time slot with your contact details and I'll book you in. If you prefer to just phone me, that's OK too. 01352 753438 or 07796 271492.
